Quarantined

Quarantined

Forget Social distancing. As a seamstress, that doesn’t work. There is no way that I can alter or make a custom apparel from 6 feet away from my customers. So with much regret, I decided for my health and the health of my family, we must distance ourselves from the rest of the world.

Now the reality hits. No income from my sewing for the foreseeable future. What that means is that we are in the middle of Prom and Wedding preparation season, so now my entire YEAR may be gone for income. For me and my business, I’m sure I will chalk up the losses and move on to better days, but for so many in my line of business they will have to shut the door and hope they can find another means of employment. My heart is extremely bruised in this tough environment.

So now I am ramping up my designs and patterns for the knit and crochet fiber arts that I sell. I have designs that needs to be written and some that need revising before they can be written. And I am offering designs to be tested, so if you are interested in testing for me, please let me know or join me on www.yarnpond.com. The site is free to join and there are a lot of designers on the site offering their designs to be tested.
