I live in Minnesota, Paul Bunyan Country, and so I designed this set to help warm you up Lumberjack style. The gingham style plaid helps to keep the fabric stretchy so that it conforms to your shape to keep the heat in and cold out! The Stars and Stripes. I was always taught respect for the Flag, not just because it is our Nations Flag, but because of all the blood, sweat, tears and sacrifice that the flag symbolizes. And so I have for you this pattern for a large scarf or small wrap to wear with pride. Using size 5 needles and about 700 of sport weight yarn and utilizing a modified daisy stitch for the stars, Long May She Wave knits up fairly quickly as the stripes are done in garter stitches, but the "stars" keep things interesting. A reversible knit scarf with a chevron design on one side and straight on the other side with a  plain square on each end to duplicate stitch your favorite teams logo on it. The scarf is worked in the round in two pieces and joined together with a three needle bind off. Short rows help with the shaping of the chevrons.  Knit with US size 5 needles and 400 yards each of 2 different colors fingering weight yarn  Dimensions: 16" circumference X 60" long (before fringe) Pattern only

A beautiful and delicate lace scarf for accenting.  Using 400 yards of both a lace weight and fingering weight yarns and a US size 3 needles this accessory moves long quickly with alternating both the easy to memorize lace pattern and the garter stitch stripes. Dimension: 10”x 54” Pattern only

Pattern has instructions for both an Aran version and a Bulky version. Aran uses about 275 yards((300 meters) with US #10 (6mm) needles Bulky uses about 250 yards(275meters) with US #15 (10mm) needles Both versions measure about 14” long and 25” circumference. Pattern only

The Icing on it is a knit shawl/wrap in two different sizes. The DK version (shawlette) is 58” wide by 24” long and is made using 2 contrasting solid colors using one variegated color between the alternating solid colors.  Main Color-150 yards of a speckled yarn, Contrast Color 1-95 yards of a solid or semi-solid, Contrast Color 2-110 yards of a solid or semi-solid (edging color)  US #7 knitting needle The fingering weight version (shawl/wrap) is 90” wide by 40” long and is made using 2 contrasting semi solid colors and two variegated colors in stripes.  Main Color-400 yards of a speckled, Contrast Color 1-350 yards of a solid or semi-solid, Contrast Color 2-550 yards of a solid or semi-solid (edging color)  US #4 knitting needle Pattern only

Hat is knit in the round using a US size 3 and 6 16 inch circular needle and between 150 and 175 yards of a DK weight yarn.  It utilizes an elongated stitch cable which is made by wrapping the yarn twice around the needle then finishing the knit stitch. Dimensions: 9.5” long by 18” around-fits 22” head Pattern only
